Reed green?
Posted by jackball74 on Thursday, March 09, 2017 10:55 PM

Going to be working up some German infantry and am having trouble finding this color. Saw that Revell has it but it seems too dark. Is there any other currently on the market?

Vallejo Model colour 920. Its not labeled as that, its called German uniform green, but after doing some comparisons with colour images i found it the best match. I used to use a mix of Tamiya but have been switching all my figure paints to Vallejo.

Yes, Bish's suggestion looks to be a good one, I've seen it mentioned on other sites/forums too.

That tunic link looks like a great match to Model Master's Field Gray. Thanks for that link Jack.

This has been on several sites for quite a few years and i have found it rather useful. I check each one i need myself to make sure i am happy with it, but most of the time it has served me well.
