He wants to use the larger nozzle on the HP-B and it won't work because the aircap and how it mates with the body of the HP-B is smaller than the HP-C.  All you've done is screw in a smaller nozzle ... and if you're happy with it great ... but it's nothing like a Micron.

40k minis:  If all you want is a the small cup style why not just go with the Eclipse HP-BS ... It's a nice airbrush and I use it for touch ups because it's easy to clean ... the head design of the Eclipse is much better suited for paint that the High Performance.

I checked coast airbrush and it says its not possible. I tell you a set up that I have with my HP-C. I have the .3mm needle and a .2mm nozzle. It supposed to be the "poorman's" CM set up. Works really well so far. What type of paint do you use?

I don't know but the people to contact would be Coast Airbrush. In their parts schematic for the HP series they list a .2mm conversion but list the .3mm conversion as not possible. Here's a link to their parts page, Coast Airbrush . I hope the link works.

.3MM NEEDLE FOR HP-B+

I like the HP-C+ but I prefer the cup size of the HP-B+. Is there a way to convert the needle for HP-B+ from a 2.mm to a .3mm?

I have read this can be done, but I cant find a conversion kit.
