Enamel coat on acrylic

  Based on what I'm reading, sounds as though it should be okay. I'm definitely going to test the theory on a test bed: i.e., junk model prior to applying to the current project as Stik mentioned.  I want to use up the last of my rattle can top coats before switching over to the airbrush stuff. Thanks for the info everyone.

I've used tamiya X-22 enamel gloss varnish to seal acrylic paints.  I really like it because it's a lot stronger than acrylic gloss varnish and doesn't eat away at the previous coats of paint.

I've never used Mig Ammo paints. And it's been years since I switched away from Model Master rattle can lacquer gloss and flat coats. BUT.... generally speaking, I have had no problems with enamels over acrylics, as long as the acrylics have had time to dry AND cure before the dissimilar paint is applied. 

Do you have a "paint mule" to test it out on?
