Painting bombs
Posted by Mars on Thursday, June 15, 2017 1:05 PM

I have 24 bombs to paint for a 1/72 B-52. Do you paint them on the sprue and then try to clean the plastic flash and fit them together or do you clean and assemble them and then have to paint them loose?

I always paint my bombs after they are put together. I don't recall how the bombs on that 52 kit attach to the aircraft. If they have holes to attach them, i would put each bomb onto a cocktail stick and paint. If not, then you could drill a small hoe where the bomb will attach and do the same.

Sounds like a plan, thank you

The upside is you get to drink 24 cocktails. It's part of the process. Smile
