Matching Tamiya TS (spray) and XF (brush) paints?
Posted by TPs on Saturday, August 5, 2017 12:56 AM

I'm building the Moebius Models International Lonestar model and I painted the axles Tamiya's german grey color. I assembled the axles first then spray painted them with that color (TS-4). Now I am wanting to go through and fill in the spots that I didn't get with the spray using a brush. I bought Tamiya's version of the same color that is for brush painting (XF-63). Yet when I applied it the color turned out darker. I thought this was due to the paint being wet. But the spots I have painted have been drying for 3 hours or so now. They are dry but the darkness remains. How do I go about getting the 2 supposedly same colors to match in shade? Thank you
