Mac Valves?

just a question: Iwata offers an "air valve set" that fits the a/b/c/practicly everything. I was wondering how they work, how to install them, and if they fit on other brand airbrushes. I am so sold by the concept, i might go to the dark side and buy an iwata.(mikev dont kill me plz)

on a more serious note, ive read up on the mac valve, but i think it would be of more use to an illustrator. i dont think you could justify the cost of buying and installing it for what little i could do for you in modeling. ive been practicing with the old iwata and have found that i can achieve whatever i need as far as finishes with it. now, if they would come up with an ab that would allow you to airbrush the detail inside of a cockpit using plain old modeling paint, id be first in line to buy it. the owner of my LHS claims he can dot an eye on a 120mm figure with his sotar spraying MM enamel. Id have to see that to believe it though. later.
