Unusual painting issue

I suspect also the problem is yellow is a transparent color. Even through an airbrush, it's hard to apply.

The thing to do is to always prime first, and where you plan to apply yellow, carefully mask and prime with white. Yellow just doesn't work over dark colors.

This is a common issue when painting with rattle cans.  If you did not prime first, the amount of paint a can sprays is much more then an airbrush, as the paint coats the model it will pull away from recessed panel lines.  If this is what is happening to you, when you spray, do a couple of  light mist coats first.  Let those coats dry a bit, 5-10 minutes then do a couple of heavier coats.

 When I have a problem that might crop up like that I do this . I take and hand paint the scribed line and or panel line with a light coat of the color required . This way when I spray it they will blend in .

 I learned this trick on my other hobby of building model cars . Paint Will separate at the  edges . So you have to paint them by hand in those areas first . It's not hard and the results are worth it !
