Paint remover

I use simple green. Spray it on heavy or submerge if possible. Let sit 1/2 hour and use a toothbrush to remove. Repeat as necessary.

I use it too. Takes a bit longer than some, but is less toxic in the long run 

Thrid vote for simple green, its dirt cheap for a gallon sized bottle ($14 or so CAD) and it strips acrylic paint very easily even when diluted. Use it to clean my tools and spraybooth turntable. Another plus is it works great as a degreaser for fresh model sprues before assembly.
