Both. Some areas need to be painted before assembly, some after sub assembly completion, and some parts are best done after main construction.

F is for FIRE, That burns down the whole town!

U is for URANIUM... BOMBS!

N is for NO SURVIVORS...

Paint before build or after build
Posted by DRod on Saturday, August 19, 2017 10:38 PM

This is a question I have been asking myself for so many years.  Do I paint before I build or wait for the product to be built.

I enjoy putting pieces together and sometimes I miss part that needed to be painted.

The cockpits have to be painted before  building the outside frame.

I have been contemplating painting the fuselage while it is on the sprue.

Just curious what thoughts would be.  Maybe it depends on the subject matter of the build.

Thanks for the feedback!
