oil paints
Posted by recce009 on Monday, September 11, 2017 9:55 AM

am going to try weathering with oil paints and have 2 questions: 1) Can oil paints be used over a paint scheme that has been "sealed" with Future and 2) Is Future suitable to "seal" over the weathered oip paints. Any help is appreciated. Thanks

Yes, you can use future on both counts. If your useign enamel paints, then its essential they aresealed. Acrylics don't have to be, but i have found thinned oil paints can damage decals, so would recomend it anyway.

Bish is right but you have no real reason to do either.
