Airbrush Cleaning!
Posted by M1ks on Thursday, October 12, 2017 5:42 PM

Some time ago I filmed a how to thoroughly clean your double action airbrush tutorial as I saw so many comments asking how and thought i'd share my method which has worked well for me for the last 10 or so years leaving me a spotlessly clean brush in 10 min or less.

At the time I was restricted by poor lighting, audio and average image quality so I thought it time to revisit it with higher er def video, better er sound and amazing CGI and special effects!
(The CGI and special effects is not true though)

Hope it's useful to someone.

That’s darn near step-for-step identical to the cleaning regimen I perform as well, and it’s always worked like a champ.

Very nice, clear and concise tutorial. Thanks for taking the time and effort to put it out there. I’m sure many will find it extremely useful!

Thanks, I hope so as it really does work well and might encourage those who are scared to get the airbrush out for little bits and pieces believing it to be too troublesome to clean.

One of the reasons I love my Badger 200 SA brush is the simplicity and low parts count.  I also have a Badger 150 double action, but it is harder to clean and re-assemble.  There are a few jobs, like camouflage that the single action is not that great for, but if the 200 does the job, that is the one I use, just for the ease of cleaning.

M1ks,

Great video....I definitely learned something watching it. Thank you for redoing it and sharing it with us.
