Make sure its dry then wet sand 220-320-400-600-1000

Use a sanding stick of some sort with the 220 and 320 to just hit the blob. Once it's level then use the higher grits.

After the 1000 wipe clean and spray over.

Hopefully there aren't too many blobs to take care of.

Remove blobs of clear coat
Posted by route62 on Thursday, March 1, 2018 7:04 PM

Just finished shooting tamiya gloss clear in prep for decals and wash.  The clear coat was sprayed over both enamel and acrylic paints.

The AB spit some blobs.  Should i try and do a light sanding to smooth out the blobs?  What grit?  Wet sand?  Any other suggestions?
