Hello,
I hope that someone here will be able to help me find what I am looking for. About 20 years ago when I was into scale model building I used this very convinient type of paintbrushes. I do not remember details about brand or where I was able to get them. They were these about 1/8th thick and 6 inch long pale yellow sticks that you briefly burned with a lighter to get the stick to separate into bristles. You could burn just a little to get a short stiff tip or burn more to get a more flexible and soft bristles. You could leave the paint on to dry out and then either cut off the dryed out section or burn it off until you got clean new bristles. The bristles were very soft and now I could describe them as being similar in touch to carbon fiber tape. Did anyone used something similar? Any ideas on identifying these.
Thank you!
