John B has given you very good advise. So has Swanny. If you rush the process, and we are all tempted when a model is so close to being done, you may well regret it. I usually have 2 or 3 models going at the same time to work on while others are in their curing phase.

Instead of using that lacquer dull coat try some Polly Scale clear flat - much friendlier.

i have had good results by waiting 48 hours after painting before applying Future to decal area. Wait 24hrs., then decal. I wait another48 hrs. before applying a lacquer top coat (e.g., Dull Cote)
