I think Don was making the point of what NOT to do.

 Modeling is an excuse to buy books.

In the latest FSM there are two places where people show how to brighten up brass paints for propellers for large warships.  When are kit mfgs going to realize that very few large warships use brass to make propellers.  Brass is not just another name for bronze!

 

Can you point me to those places?  Can't seem to find them.
