Alclad gloss black base as a top coat
Posted by dlh on Thursday, September 13, 2018 11:16 AM

The Alclad black is such a perfect finish, I'd like to use it as a top coat on some small detail parts.  Anyone have problems doing that?  Durability?

Thanks

Dave

Just be aware that some batches of that particular color have drying problems. I did a sample spray to test for slow drying, and it took two days to cure to touch. Some have reported even longer drying times.
