I would paint the horse dark grey, then when dry, use a fine sponge, as used for applying womens' makeup, dip it in light gray and squeeze it out, then gently pat it on the horse, using as little paint as possible, sort of like dry-brushing.

Gimme a pigfoot, and a bottle of beer...

I'm going to work on the Moebius Fraazetta Death Dealer model and would like to do the horse dark dapple grey. Any ideas how to paint   the dappleing? Any help would be muchly appericated. Thanks, AARDVAR
