Stynlrez and Photoetch
Posted by laskdjn on Wednesday, September 19, 2018 9:48 AM

I've heard of some of the acrylic primers having issues adhering to brass.  Does anyone have experience using Stynlrez on brass?

Generally, Stynlrez is my goto primer, but I don't think I've ever tried it on photo etch.

IMO, it adheres pretty well. Well enough that it is my go-to for priming photoetch now.

It (stynylrez) stick pretty well to my airbrush cup, too. Which I take as a very good sign for a primer.

I'd give it a go on a larger PE part, and give it a scratch test to see if you're satisfied. No need to go by my opinion.
