Masking over Tamiya TS rattle can paints?

To slightly flip this question on its head, what's good for masking UNDER Tamiya TS Paints? I decant the TS rattle cans for use in my airbrush (they're gorgeous colours and finish) I normally use simple masking tape but I have to mask off some small, oddly shaped clear windows. I have Vallejo Liquid Mask but I worry that the Synthetic Lacquer of the TS paint will simply dissolve the mask? What about Maskol or other liquid masks? Would any of those stand up to the TS lacquer or will the paint just dissolve a liquid mask?

I'm using these paints because of the very fast tack free time which will help to avoid dust on a model like this.  I've also heard that it's much easier to polish out a spec of dust from this paint when dry. My last Ferrari model was painted with MM enamels (Italian Red, airbrushed) with a very slow tack free time.  Even in a prepared environment one spec of dust can be a nightmare to gloss models like this.

I've masked over TS paint several times without any issues after letting the first coat dry overnite. My only concern is that because you have little control over how much paint comes out of the can it's easy to get a build up next to the masking tape that will then leave a ridge. I'd suggest you decant the paint you're using for the second coat and spray it with your airbrush. It's more work but well worth the effort.

I masked over my Ducati and it was 2 day old ts8.  Granted it was lightly masked with the wide Tamiya yellow tape, but I saw no issues.  In watching the online build for the tricolores version the builder only used tamiya rattle cans and tamiya supplied (yellow) masks and produced a flawless finish.  I would do as GM says for any significant masking and give it 7 days to cure.  I found these finishes lay down really nice having done British racing green, lime green and Italian red and they are very durable.  Fine with handling, decaling and setting solutions.  I'm a big fan of the TS paints I've used.  They level really nice and produce a deep finish right out of the can.

I’ve only used Tamiya rattle can paints once. No masking was involved. Plus side- I loved the color. Downside- I just don’t care for the control level of rattle cans. I need to try that decanting thing next time...

I don't have experience with that. I would say- let the first color dry for one week. I always try to with enamels and lacquers.
