I pour the paint down along a hobby stick, angling the stick to where you want the paint to go. Works for me, without the expense of pipettes.

I use the little spoon end of Tamiya stir sticks. One drop at a time.

There's one I never considered. Clever, Stik.

Pipette is the way to go. Stock up on a bunch. You never have enough on hand.

Hi DavidfromPA,

We were just discussing this recently in the thread below:

http://cs.finescale.com/fsm/tools_techniques_and_reference_materials/f/18/t/180483.aspx

You might check it out in case something is missed here.

BTW, I go the pipette route

Sorry, the hotlink tool isn't working again. And I've been having such good luck with it....I must have done something differently.

I use pipettes to transfer into large tattoo ink caps to mix then dump then straight into my airbrush.

You can use pipettes, eye droppers,or plastic hypodermics to transfer the paint.

Preventing Paint Spills?
Posted by David from PA on Sunday, November 18, 2018 8:19 AM

Anyone have a good technique or tool they use to pour paint from a bottle into an airbrush paint bottle or cup? I have never mastered this problem and I'm really getting tired of losing paint on the newspaper I use to paint parts on. Thanks, in advance.
