Looking for a new airbrush. Meng?
Posted by Coldsteel6d on Wednesday, April 3, 2019 9:14 AM

Looking to pick up a new airbrush. Currently use a Badger 155 Anthem. Does a little bit of everything ok. Since I am not a master finisher it has served me well. I want to branch out though and get something more. Maybe with better detail. Saw that Meng makes an airbrush called Yun Mo. Anyone know anything about this thing? Love ther models. 95% of what I build is modern armor so Meng is a great company as far as I am concerned.

Just  wondering if anyone knows anything about this brush and if not if anyone has a recomendation for a different airbrush. Would consider myself more than a novice but not an expert. looking to spend under $200.

I'm not familiar with it but I looked up a review article on it and it sounds like an intereting airbrush.

One major consideration on an airbrush is the availability and cost of replacement parts, particularly, nozzle and needle. You also want feedback from users that these wearable parts are durabile.

Thanks for the responses. I decided to go against the Meng since it seemed that they are out of stock everywhere. I went with the Badger Krome. I already have a Badger 155 so I won't need any kind of hose adapters or anything. The Krome has been out a while and it has a good reputation and track record. I should have it in a few days. Think I did ok with getting it.

I have a Renegade with xtra fine tip. Does a super job for fine detailing and tight mottling.
