Paasche Talon with three part kit: Sprayed well, but I found it less comfortable to handle compared to my Badgers. Gave away to a friend.
Badger Patriot: Works well, quality AB all around, but not my favorite Badger. Gave to FSM friend.
Badger Renegade: Really a good AB, but I found the length of the body to make closeup spraying a bit awkward.
Eclipse: Super good quality, but with old and clumsy fingers I found it a bit fiddly to handle and maintain. A really good AB though.
For myself I prefer a short body AB, less distance from trigger to tip. For my general use I use a Badger 100 G, (small gravity cup,) and a 100 LG, (large cup.) These two Badger models are my go to's, super tough and reliable, I think the easiest to clean and maintain of all.
If parts are ever needed, (rare,) they are very inexpensive and readily available. Badger is a company that supports their products extremely well. Example, a Sotar developed a problem, I called and they said just send it back. Two days later a brand new one showed up at my door, they sent it to me before even receiving my old one. A class act for certain.
I have been giving away the majority of my airbrushes to others to get them started, but the ones I'll keep will be Badger's. Good luck with your search.

I too am looking to replace my old basic air brush. Now that I have some experience I want to get a great all arounder that can paint the thin pencil line and up to 2-3". I am looking for something I can use for a very long time; something that can take the use, easy to clean, and has easy access to replacement parts. I am looking for something with the following charistics:
- double action
- gravity feed
- 0.3mm tip
- good with enamels and acrylics
- works from 10-30 psi
So far, I am leaning towards one of those shown below but I would like the forums input (based on experience).
- Badger Renegade R1V (0.21mm)
- Badger Patriot 105 (0.5mm)
- Iwata Eclipse HP-CS (0.3mm)
- Tamiya Paintworks HG (0.3mm)
- Paasche Talon TG-3F (.25mm, .38mm, 66mm and fan tip)
If you have any of these or have experience with them, please let me know your feedback on it. Thanks in advance for your time and effort.
