US Navy WWII 20B Deck Blue?
Posted by CBHusky on Sunday, May 5, 2019 8:57 AM

Testor used to make acrylic and enamel US Navy WWII 20B Deck Blue color. But it is discontinued. Is there an equivalent in Tamiya or Vallejo paints? Or maybe another Testor paint shade that comes close? Acrylics is all I'll work with, so please only suggest those. I will not work with enamels.

Vallejo Model Color 20B substitute is listed as either 867 or 900 blue/grey ( the chart says either not me lol). I didn't find it in Model Air. And then there is a deck stain listed as well, didn't catch the number.

I suppose in a pinch, and if the verticals are not Navy Blue, 5-N would be close.

Modeling is an excuse to buy books.
