Don't think you can do better for the money new. Let me know what you think of it when you have it.

This is exactly the kind of thing I've got my eye on. Think I might just order one! :)

Had one of these for years and had no problem at all with it, very quiet and never had a drip out of it. This is the type I got from ebay just so there's no confusion, can't go wrong for AU$90 delivered.

it was from Princess trade I got mine from but all the same unit. Let us know how you go.

Cheers from Mick.

Looking at compressors I've come across a few As-186/AF-186 types with reservoirs at prices that suit my budget on Ebay. They all seem to be no-name brands mostly - are anyone here using this type of compressor? Are they worth it? Around the AUD90 delivered.

If you can hold out till about mid-July, you'll probably be able to get something similar from Aldi. For the last few years they've had an airbrush compressor for $99.00 some time in July or thereabouts. Last year it was this one with a tank attached

In previous years, it was the same basic compressor but without a tank. A couple of years ago, I got one of the tankless models on a clearance a few weeks after the catalogue date for $40.00 (was $99.00)

It's kind of looking like if you buy one of these you can let us all know how it is. I did look up some youtube on them which didn't say a whole lot. I guess maybe not the quietest units but one might expect that given the price.

Hi guys,

Looking at compressors I've come across a few As-186/AF-186 types with reservoirs at prices that suit my budget on Ebay.

They all seem to be no-name brands mostly - are anyone here using this type of compressor? Are they worth it? Around the AUD90 delivered.

Difference between the AS and AF seems to be the AF has a cooling fan built in and is a few dollars dearer...anyone having any thoughts on these?

Cheers BT
