Bish Not sure why anyone would suggest white spirits for Acrylic paint. Deffinetly want to avoid that.

You are absolutely correct. Petroleum and acrylics are immiscible and will make a hell of a mess!
Thanks guys - the question is answered before I asked it!
Wilbur Wright I've used Tamiya thinner with good success for thinning the AK paint.

AK is thin out of the bottle, but if you still want to use a thinner then use AK thinner. With acrylics use the paint manufacturers own brand of thinners for best results regardless of the company you choose. Thinners are not universal for acrylics like enamels are. You won't go wrong that way. Hope that helps.
I've been using Model Master enamels for as long as I've been modeling, but want to try acrylics, so I ordered a few bottles of AK interactive to paint my Go 229, but forgot to order thinner! Now I see that there are quite a few types of thinners for AK - high compatability, odorless, white spirit, etc. What is the best to use for airbrushing? Will Tamiya thinner work with AK, or even regular mineral spirits (I would really love to finish the build over the 4th of July weekend, and may not be able to get it delivered in time, but the local hobby store carries Tamiya)?
