I leave my masks on the canopies trough the entire build, its one of the last things I remove. There is great article in FSM April 2004 on how to mask canopies, lots of good tips, read it if you can get your hands on it. Good luck. Big Smile [:D]

i dip my canopies in future and i works well. and, being a rookie, i have sprayed the clear coat right over my finished model without masking it and it did turn out on the hazy side. my reccomendation is to mask the canopy before the clear coat. later.

Trying to expand my horizons on painting. The questions is on clearcoats. When finishing a model with a clear coat can the clear sytrene parts included or does this cause them to look hazy. What would be the difference with the use of dullcoats, clearcoats, or future floor polish.
