What's the problem with this? it's been out of stock for months in Australia (I just managed to get 2 bottles of it from a supplier in Aus) and a quick browse of the net shows it's out of stock in the US and Canada.

Anyone have any info on why the apparant world wide shortage?

I've heard that it's a warning label issue, and should be resolved before too long.

My local store here in Ottawa had the big bottles of thinner in stock today.

It's been out of stock on all the web sites I shop on but a couple months ago I walked into my LHS and they had four big bottles on the shelf. I bought them all. Tamiya seems to have shortages of items from time to time. A while back it was popular paint colors that were in short supply but not for this long of a period of time. If you find a Tamiya product you like I personnally suggest stocking up.

I was in the lhs yesterday nosing around and didn't even think of looking for X20a since I don't use it as my Tamiya thinner anyway. What I do use from the Tamiya rack besides a few colors is Tamita X22a clear gloss and he runs out of that a lot. I'd like to get a larger bottle of that.

But what I did notice was many empty slots of Model Master enamel while the MM acryl rack was full. As was the regular Testors enamel rack. For what I had in mind the regular Testors will work. He might as well down size the MM enamel rack it's taking up valuable space.
