Check out the MRP Mr Paint line. They have the blacks you mentioned plus, primers and other colors that would work well for autos or bikes. Clear coats and clear colors you could use as candies. If you wanted. I dont have a lot of experience with them but the colors I've used were reduced well and sprayed well. Or, you could buy House of Colors paints pre-thinned in small quantities. I would recommend Coast Airbrush. Other companies sell these as well but I like Coast. This may be more than you'd like to do but for the chrome, you could completely strip the parts and use Alclad Chrome or Stainless. You'd have to use gloss black underneath but I think it works very well. Plus, you could get rid of any seams or imperfections. Tony

Help with the proper airbrush paints
Posted by Dyna Matt on Friday, December 13, 2019 11:59 PM

Hello.. I was if someone could help me I've been building models for years know, but I also build motorcycles so I've always used the shop booth... But my cancer came back so I'm back in recurrence... Any how I had my chick set up a hobby room again,  so pretty much when I feel like I can I'm going to be airbrushing... Can anyone recommend a ready to use airbrush paint? The colors I like to use a lot of are gloss black and satin black, with the set of bikes I'm doing.... O yea also if you have an extra moment to answer one more question. When you have the chrome pieces that are a little chipped before you even take it out of the box, does any one have a good method to touch them up? I've tried the molotow marker & testors model master chrome silver & spaz stix spray paint and even when I can use it that foil paper... I'm just lost in these two issues.... If any one has any answers it would be greatly appreciated.... Also I'm not on this scale model website all the time, and I'm not sure if it's linked to my email, please feel free to e-mail me... dynamatta@gmail.com     thanks so much I greatly appreciate your help.... Thanks so much dyna Matt
