whup! whup! whup! the long anticipated iwata hp-cs has arrived today and it couldnt have come at a better time. i havent tried it yet, but im fixin' to(thats reneck for about to). i just got the base coat of my israeli F-16A's desert cammo pattern applied this morning. i went to work and the architect finally came through and delivered the hp-cs to the job site this evening!! now, im about to spray the cleaning solution through, lube up the needle and see what this puppy can do. wish me luck fellows and thanks for seeing me through this loathsome crisis.Wink [;)]Tongue [:P] i'll be posting the photos of the progress either here or the aircraft thread soon. later.

Woo Hoo!!

I can't wait to get a full report.

I say fixin to all the time myself, and get ribbed for it some. When other people say it, I always say, "Well, fix me a couple too while you're in there."

Nobody else thinks it's as funny as I do.

I've been waiting on the edge of my chair to hear your results, saltydog, and you haven't disappointed me. It is good to hear people appreciate the feel of a nice airbrush like the Iwata. We'll all appreciate them for years because of the quality build.

the eclipse is definatly a piece of quality!! when i first got the hp-c, i was a little disappointed about the smoothness of the trigger as id heard how smooth iwata's triggers and machining were. my omni's trigger was smoother than the hp-c's, but when the hp-cs came, its wieght and feel in my hand along with the exceptionally smooth trigger was impressive to say the least. the 2 ab's are excellent. i can achieve the same line with the omni, but its easier for me to get it with the iwata. plus, i like the feel of the iwatas in my hand. you just cant beat comfort my friends. i have thick, carpenters hands and the iwata is slightly larger than the omni. some people obviously wont like that, but i do. quality drips from iwata like honey from a hive guys. thats my 2cents. later.Thumbs Up [tup]Thumbs Up [tup]

Chris,

Glad you like that new toy brother.
It sounds like you have given it a fair review.
