Anyone used Mr Color clear or Metalized Sealer over top of Alclad II?

No, Not X-22, Decanted spray can clear  (ts-13 if my memory is right).

I've shot the MM Metalizer clear over all sorts of acrylics, also over and under washes. If I'm getting your message straight you're really spraying over X22 ? And that is over the Alclad. It should work fine in terms of compatability. In my case, whenever I have some idea like this I shoot that specific test though, because you just never know. But I use that clear sealer for a lot of things besides over Metalizer paints. Truth be known i think it's just specifically and well thinned out lacquer. Just sayin.

I am using Tamiya weathering powders for the first time over alclad two and wat to afix them with clear. The ajoining areas are painted with tamiya acrylics and overocated with tamiya spray clear.  Actually, I would prefer to use metalize sealer, but dont know if it will play nice with the tamiya clear... anyone have experience with using these paints together? Thanks.
