You all remember George Hamilton?

Modeling is an excuse to buy books.

Thanks, Greg.  It just seems strange to me that we take care not to breath this stuff and these ladies are spraying right up their noses.  I wonder if eventually there will be a bunch of lawsuits like the ones for talcum powder.

Women do weird things anyway, if you make a little stink in the house they get all upset ( some do,my wife is not bad). Then they turn around and paint their nails with lacquer paint called polish. And while we might wear gloves to handle solvents and thinners, they soak ten fingers in pure acetone to remove the so called polish. They have some kind of resin hardener that will about blow your head off. But any and all of it's ok in the name of beauty aids.

Absolutely, and the same regarding the liability issue I would think.

I recently acquired a hobby spray booth, one might think that I'd have thought about this too when I read TB's post.

When I see these things advertised, I can't help wondering what the health hazards are of spraying a fine mist of this stuff right in your face.  It doesn't seem like it would be good for the lungs.

Don

I had never given this a thought.Holy cow, what a great observation.

Good example of why you are our airbrush authority! For sure mine.

I wonder if it might have been this one?(or something similar?) Says the compressor runs on 12vdc (rechargable maybe?) or 120VAC.

Apparently airbrushes for makeup are very popular and have been for quite a while.

I think your idea of using a unit like this for apartment dwellers and such is not bad at all. Why not? When I'm away from home base I have that problem, might be something to consider.

It was a Dark and Stormy Night - NOT! !

But I stumbled upon the strangest Airbrush thingy I have ever seen. Okay, Apply make-Up with an airbrush ! They do at the studios! BUT, now this is the strange thing. The compressor appears to be no bigger than some small caameras!

No cord so I have to assume it's battery powered. Is it rechargeable ? Who knows? Does anyone know about this and at what pressure does this thing work?

This could be the answer for those of us in tight situations where housemates have allergies and stuff. The brush looks like an IWATA gold model with upper vat instead of bottom feed. So paint amount would be limited.

Remember for years I used a De-Vilbiss Automobile touch up unit! Small ,but you could crank it all the way to 35 pounds PSI or down to 1 or 2
