How To Clean Clear Coat From Air Brush?

Humbrol gloss clear is what I'm using, at the moment I only have acrylic thinners, would that work or is it best to wait until the lacquer thinners arrives?

First:

      Why are you glosscoating a Bomber? Second can't you just use Future Floor care where the decals go? Painting the whole a/c is not necessary.

      If you do, then clean your airbrush with straight Lacquer thinner afterward. Make sure you then dissassemble it and clean the "O" rings and seals with regular soap and water. That breaks the mean chemical residue from the thinner and plumps up the parts for further use.

      Remember the better that you care for your tools, the more consistant they will continue to work for you.

Which gloss product will you be spraying?

In the meantime, in my experience, clear coat is the last thing you want to dry in an airbrush.Mostly becuase you can't see it.  So I tend to use lacquer thinner after all clearcoats, just to make sure.
