Testors Model Master Paints

The web site is fairly up to date.  They may have stopped production for awhile changing over to their newer colors and product lines.  I found a freebie handout at HL recently advertising the new Testors line, and it will continue.  I asked a manager there, and they said it is their most popular hobby paint line.  BTW, the brochure had a Hobby Lobby copyright and web site, so there is some connection now between HL and Testors.  Recently at my local Michaels they had new lines and colors of Testors stuff.

For acrylic paint, Tamiya, vallejo, ak, ammo of Mig, even hobby store craft paint handled properly!

Enamel, Humbrol.

Lacquer, Tamiya lacquer, MRP, AK real colors, Hataka Lacquer.

All are available on line from various stores.

Thanks for the replies and suggestions!  Although I have been a lifelong modeler and have subscribed to Finescale for several years I have not been closely following the hobby.  Now that all my kids are grown and have reached an age at which I have more leisure time I have been increasing my model making endeavors.

If you like enamels, try North Star, Colourcoats, Humbrol, or Tru-Color. Humbrol is the only one with any significant hobby shop presence. Tru-Color can be found in some shops specializing in model railroading. But all can be mail-ordered, and all are good.

I have found some conflicting reports online of Testors discontinuing its Model Master (MM) paint line.  Some are saying it is completely discontinued, others are reporting it is going to be no longer available outside of the United States, and yet a few reports are saying they are only reatining their enamel-based line.  Meanwhile, the Testors website is still showing the MM paints but that may not be being updated.  I was wondering if anyone knew what is really happening?  Some websites show the paints on clearance while others seem to have a lot of paint on hand.  I have been a lifelong modeler and have basically used either MM or Tamiya for the past 30 years so what would be a good alternative to MM?

Vallejo, Mission Models, AK, Mig Productions, Revell, Life Color, X-tracolor, Mr Hobby, Hataka. 

Goes on and on

MM paints are DONE, ie.. GONE. Never to be made again. When stock is out it is done forever. This is confirmed from the parent company. Completely discontinued. There is another thread concerning this in the forums.
