Mixing Stynylrez Colours
Posted by Of Models & Monsters on Thursday, August 20, 2020 5:55 PM

Hola comrades, I apologise in advance for the life story, i'll try to get to the point as quick as I can.  I have a Fokker Dr.I waiting to be built and I'm trying to plan things correctly cause I don't want to screw up my favourite airplane.  I tested the Stynylrez grey primer underneath Vallejo's RLM23 Red paint to see how it would look.  I thought it was a little dark but I don't really want to use the white primer & make it too vibrant.  Is it safe to mix the grey & white primers to make a light grey?  Or will the formulation not work?  If anyone knows the answer i'd love to hear it.

I don't own the grey primer. I mix black and white to get the shade of grey I want instead, this keeps my lesser active bottle of white active lol.. They intermix fine, you shouldn't have a problem..
