Might take a look at some of snapdragons threads.  I think he uses another company and is very happy with their stuff.  He is in the UK however so might be harder for us on this side of the pond to get.

Bish-

I still like the Eduard mask for canopies.  They have worked for me so why change?  Montex for insignia shouldn't be a real issues since your really not staying in a small space like a canopy.

cheers

I have not use their insignia masks but i have used the canopy masks. biggest mistake i have made, bloody awful. But as long as the masks are on a flat surface and have no curves, especailly at the edge of the mask, you should be ok.

I do have a set of insignia masks for a 24th Stuka, but after my past experiance, i am in 2 minds about useing it.

I am a Norfolk man and i glory in being so

Lawdog makes great models and I'm certainly not at his level but that is one vote for using them.

Couple folks swear by them.  I haven't tried yet.  Lawdog uses them all the time.

Thanks,

John

As I advance in my model making journey I think I want to break up with decals.  I've had a sheet or two that were just brilliant and I've had some that are frustrating.  The inconsistency bothers me and I want to remove this variable.  An internet search provided me with a product called Montex mask for aircraft insignia and such.  They look pretty straightforward.  Anyone use these?  Anything I should consider before purchasing a set?
