Hello, my first post.
I recently got back into building models. I finished the Bandai AT AT. I painted it with an Iwata airbrush and vallejo acrylic, then a clear semi gloss of Tamiya from a rattle can and planned to do a wash and some weathering and finish with a clear flat coat. But now I decided the gray I used is too dark and want to spray it again with a lighter gray acrylic. I started in on the spraying and the paint was not adhering well, like it was beading. I rinsed it off easily with water. I thought it might be the paint mix, but I also finished the AT ST and tried spraying that and it was great. So is it because I'm using flat acrylic over the semi gloss clear coat of enamel? Thanks.
