I'm starting a build of the Revell 1/500 Into Darkness Enterprise, and I'm going to use a pearl white paint for the hull.
I've never used a pearl paint before, and usually use a matte clear coat. I'm concerned that'll mess with the pearlescent effect of the paint.
Any suggestions for clear coat? Would semi-gloss work, or would I want to do a glossy finish? I don't really like a gloss finish, which is why I don't usually use it.
