Some paints do streak in the jar. If you got all the sediment off the bottom, there are no clumps in the paint and it sprays or applies fine then don't worry about it.
I've noticed that Tamiya flat colors frequently appear to have a slight streaky look in the jar after shaking as if it wasn't mixed but there's never been a problem with them. I have no explaination or concerns because they work as they should.
the paint goes on fine but the colors dont seem to mix in the jar

Mix it best you can then thin a little of it and try shooting it. As long as it's not lumpy of course.
The Badger mixers are not expensive fwiw. Something to keep in mind. But I went decades without one too and always got things painted.

I'd use my Badger battery powered mixer. Way superior to a mixing stick imo.
The reciprocating saw looks brutal lol !
This will do the trick. Works great. And no, I have never had a paint bottle hit me in the head!
Your comments and questions are always welcome.
What color is it ? Is it a metallic by chance ? Sometimes metallics have swirls in the bottle but spray fine.
No matter how much i stir it still doesnt appear uniform
