Nothing is like buffing metalizer imo ! But we gotta move on.

My problen is a copper manifold, might end up using a craft paint called Worn Penny, it's pretty close if a bit too metallic. Testors regular copper metallic is too silver.

Thanks Don.

I wonder if their intent was these in place of the Metalizer line. Or even if they would resemble them. The info with the add says ultra find ground pigment or some such wording.

These do not need buffing, so I consider them a paint and not a metalizer.  With the ultrafine pigment they work like the Molotow pen.  Must be used over a glossy surface, though.

Testors did add some new metal colors to their enamel paints about the time the rumors started that they were out of business.  There are some truly new colors, some improved versions of old ones.  I like them.  New Chome Silver is really good.

Testors Enamel Metal Color paint set ?

I ran into that set over at Amazon actually looking at paints in general. Anyone know if this is something new or just the old metallic line or maybe a mis printed add ? They seem to be flat paints, my experience is the old metallics were/are gloss.. Or maybe it's something old and I never knew about them.
