I have a Sparmax TC-620X and don't find it loud.  It's a great compressor.  Worst think about it is the location of the on/off switch, but I deal with it.

Here's a review:

You can hear it running at 10:00 in.

Hi from Brunei.

The TC-620X is similar to my old TC-610. And they are not loud. More like a sound of two person conversing. Sparmax compressor are reliable. Go for it.

But ever since I did the DeAgostini Falcon. I bought a Silent Air Compressor (similar to California Air Compressor ) with a 25 liter tank. And I have been using this eversince. The Sparmax is now a backup.

Advice on choice of airbrush compressor - Sparmax, Sil-Air (Singapore)

Hi guys,

I'm currently based in Singapore and there are limited choices to find airbrush compressors here with 220V or online sellers that ship here.

Noise is a big concern for me so I was looking at the Sil-Air 15D Compressor but I could not find anyone that ships to Singapore. Any ideas anyone?

Alternatively, there are Sparmax dealers locally so my backup choices are either AC-500 or TC-620X though both are quite loud. The specs seem the same though, anyone has inputs on these two models? https://www.sparmaxair.com/compressor-legend-1
