Question about the tip for you Iwata HP-CS owners

Mike, yes that tip is correct. The .5mm tip is diferrent while the .35mm tip which you have looks just like that.

Is the end piece removable? It looks like there are flat spots on it for one of those tiny Iwata wrenches.

I've never removed that but probably is removable. It looks good to me just a bit more cleaning needed.

yes mike, you can remove the end of the nozzle with the wrench provided. thats the one i talk about when i say its hard to handle with my hands. i havent had my hp-cs but for about 3 weeks now so ive never taken the head assembly off. if i break it down to clean, i just pull my needle back out of the bowl and unscrew the nozzle with the wrench and clean the tube with brush cleaners. have fun. later.

This HP-CS didn't come with a wrench or the lid for the color cup, but for $30 I guess I can't complain huh?

That is so true. The women who owned it also only charged $3 shipping from Cleveland to here in CA. Not bad at all for USPS Priority Mail.

Hi Mike, I've been off the forum for a few weeks so I just caught up with the news that you have joined the Iwata Owners Club, at first I had to check the date of your post as I thought it might be an April Fools joke but it appears true. Welcome bro! Yep, that nozzle is the standard HP-CS one, same as in mine and yes the little end piece does unscrew but it would be very rare to have to and don't overtighten it if you do. I like to store it (The whole nozzle as in your photo) and the needle in some Windex (I use Acrylics) to keep em spotlessly clean and swab out the little brass barrel with a Micro-Brush. That brush is so easy to break down it's not even a hassle. Anyway I hope you enjoy it mate.

Hey Snowy, MikeV just not only joined the Iwata owner club but right now, he's already an iwata guru by the way his reply in airbrush posts.

Sorry MikeV, just can't help it. BTW, even I own an Iwata HP-C, I still love my badger 155 and tamiya spraywork.
