How to remove overspray
Posted by VW fan on Friday, May 19, 2023 12:14 PM

Hey guys! While camouflaging an A-10, I have over sprayed the pattern Next to the section I sprayed. Prior to spraying I did seal the paint beneath it. How can I remove the overspray without damaging my work??

If you're using dissimilar layers for sealing in the previous color, say an acrylic clear coat over an enamel base coat, you could use a cotton swab moistened with an appropriate thinner to remove overspray. If youre using a paint and clear coat of the same type, youll have to go back and carefully airbrush on the needed colors to clean up overspray. Some masking should help.
