John3M

found the air leak. The soap trick was not working until i added a little glycerol to the mixture then after a minute the joint began blowing large bubbles. I think the soap by itself is a little too thin but with the glycerol the soap becomes more effective.

Thats great !

Good I used to work for the gas company when searching leaks we sometimes avoided the soap because it actually plugged small leaks.

Hope you can fix it

As long as it doesnt affect your PSI during  sessions, shouldnt be a problem.

I have a small compressor with a tank,if I forget to take the presdure off when I'm done, the tank empties before my next session,I just turn the switch off when I'm done so it doesn't run for nothing.

I've had leaks at the quick connector before, the threads to hose. One time it was a tank drain valve. One time the O ring inside a quick connetor got dislodged, that was a very obvious leak with a hiss. In one shop I worked in we had a compressor with a tank seam leak, you don't fix those, you get a new tank or new compressor.

I have a master airbrush compressor and I seem to have an air leak somewhere. I've taped the connections with the Teflon originally I didn't tape them but then I did tape them after the compressor kept kicking in and I wasn't using it. I tried the soap method where you spray on soapy Water and couldn't detect a leak so I'm kind of stumped here on what else to look for
