Which kit is it?
My instinct is to use a Gloss Sea Blue.
The bigger the government, the smaller the citizen.
On a F9F Panther, for blue, it's definitely Gloss Sea Blue, not Deck Blue. A handful did serve in lacquered bare metal, and later in their service lives serving Panthers did get the Gloss Gull Gray over Gloss White. But for most, it was Gloss Sea Blue.
