Did you use acrylics or enamels? Enamels can take considerably longer to dry than acrylics.

Did you clean it thoroughly before painting? The mold release agent used in the molding process is greasy and can keep paint from adhering, and can also caus it to remain tacky.

Most people just wash them in soap and water before painting and let them dry overnight. I'm always in a hurry so I clean mine with alcohol since it dries so much quicker than water.

I spray painted my model using just plain ole' blue spray paint, and it looks good, until you look closely. There are dry spots on it. Some of the areas are completely dry to the touch of the finger, and still others are almost wet still. But that can't be, becuase it has been drying for 4 days now...What could this be?
