Sorry if this has been said somewhere else, just I am lazy and don't wanna look for iBig Smile [:D]. What is the best plastic model primer, preferably sandable, cause' i seen to mess up A LOT. Also, where can I get it?

I like Floquil's primer that they sell in the Railroad color line.
It is carried at most hobby shops.

i use krylon primer ,sold at wal-mart its around $2.30 for a 12oz can

works great ,wet sanding i find works the best

I also use Krylon sandable primer. Make sure that you spray it outdoors.

I prefer Tamiya primer because the pigment is very fine and it doesn't cover surface details. I haven't used the Floquil, but I just used some Krylon on some metal landing gear and it seemed to cover up more detail than the Tamiya would have. Unfortunately the Tamiya probably wouldn't stick to metal. I did spray the Krylon straight from the can and didn't decant it and spray it with my airbrush, but I spray the Tamiya straight from the can as well.
