I plan to get some Polly Scale when he gets some in, but I'm going to give this stuff a shot here pretty soon, just to see how well it works.

I think the Promodeler paint was repackaged Revell paint. It's not available in this area at least. It should be OK, but I have never used it. Would suggest you wait for the Polly Scale which is excellent.

I hadn't heard of it either actually. He gave me this bottle because Monogram has discontinued the line here in the Us. I think they can't compete with the already established Model Master line. I'm going to try it out in the next several days. I don't really have any scrap to try it on, but I'll see how it works on a small part.

The guy at the LHS gave me a bottle of this today. I asked him about Polly Scale clear flat, because I've heard good things about it, but he said he didn't have any. He went back to the paint isle and just gave me this bottle for free, saying he'd order some Polly Scale. Apparently Monogram has been trying off and on to sell paints here in the States with limited success.

Has anyone tried this stuff before? Any hints or tips or opinions? It says on the bottle to thin it with water, and the guy said you can thin it with Windex and do well also, but I wondered if anyone has better ideas.
