Wisdom is the right use of knowledge. To know is not to be wise. Many men know a great deal, and are all the greater fools for it. There is no fool so great a fool as a knowing fool. But to know how to use knowledge is to have wisdom. " Charles Spurgeon

A/B touch-up techniques work!

Thank you to Mike, Rick, and Sean for helping me out last week with your fantastic tips on making a seemless touch-up job!!! Unfortunately, time kinda kept me from trying 'em out 'till this evening. However it worked like a charm, slowly building up the color, and slowly pulling out wider to blend it in!!! I was going over the post, and realized I was actually kind of vague in my question....sorry about that, but I appreciate you taking the time to try and answer it anyway. So here is the full scoop.....painting a Mercedes CLK GTR car body MM enamel German Silver Metalic unmixed, straight out of the bottle.....just like you said Mike, I was painting too close, and the color was looking much more darker than the surrounding areas. So, pulled back, lowered the pressure, and took my time.....so far so good!!! Thanks guys!! Appreciate it!!!Bow [bow]Thumbs Up [tup]Big Smile [:D]
