Good idea Mark.
Testing on something other than your model is always a good idea.

You can try straight isopropyl alcohol if you like and if it works then that's great. Wink [;)]

Very well, I will use your thinner mixture and spray the flat clear on a smooth, black-colored wooden block. If there are any problems I will spot them before I try on the model.

Thanks but why do you feel it's necessary to add water to the alcohol? What's wrong with pure alcohol?

The recommended MM thinner is not easy to find at hobby stores; what can I used instead? The Flat Clear paint is from the "Akryl" brand.
