Actually I'm going to be using the paint on Ultracal 30 rock castings. I tinted the Ultracal prior to mixing so the casts are gray already, just looking to do dome additional shading prior to weathering. I just saw that Golden sells an airbrush transparent paint called "Shading Gray", sounds just about right for what I'm now doing.

John,

If you are having good results with the Polly Scale then I would continue using it and maybe even trying Model Master Acryl and Tamiya acrylics to see how they work.

The Golden's colors are great but I don't know how they perform on plastic.
Most people I know that use them are using them on automotive surfaces or textiles such as T-shirts and denim jackets.

There is a lot of info on their web site on using them and maybe you could send them an email to see what they say about your application.

Hi,

I've heard that Golden airbrush paints are considered to be a very good paint and would like to hear opinons on it. I've been using PollyScale acrylic paint, and have been pretty happy with it. I'm using (actually just bought it) a Paasche H.

Is the Golden airbrush really ready to use right from the bottle, or is additional thinning needed?

Any comparisions to PollyScale paint appreciated.

Thanks
John
